MY GUILTY PLEASURE LADURÉE
Hi everyone, this is my first blog post and I decided to share one of my favourite guilty pleasures Ladurée. The first time I visited Paris I discovered Ladurée. I saw very long lines in front of the store and wanted to know what the rave was about.
Since I tried my first macaron I have been addicted. On my trip to London I stopped at Harrods to have tea at my favourite place Ladurée.
Ladurée is celebrating their 150 th anniversary. Ladurée began with Pierre Desfontaines, the secound cousin of Louis Ernest Ladurée, who at the beginning of the 20th century first thought of taking two macaron shells and joining them with a delicious ganache filling.
The macarons are very crispy and soft in the middle, my favourite way to enjoy them is with tea or champagne.
I can´t help but be captivated by the colours and flavours of these delicious treats.
Wishing you all a wonderful day TheLuxeBabe xoxo
I love the Laduree Macarons! Unfortunally they are hard to get in Germany *sigh*, so I had to bake my own macarons. Maybe you like to take a look: http://theprincessherbagsandthewardrobe.blogspot.de/2012/06/macarons.html
